Side effects of Quinine
Less serious side effects may include: Hearing problems, headache, sweating, nausea, disruptive vision changes and flushing.
More serious side effects, If you experience any of them call your doctor immediately: Serious allergic reactions are also a cause for immediate medical care. Fainting, tachycardia (fast heartbeat), severe dizziness or chest pain. Such reactions include difficulty breathing, rash and itching or swelling of the face, tongue and throat. Some patients may also bleed or bruise more easily, discover decreased urinary output, develop hemolytic anemia (loss of red blood cells), develop liver problems, experience signs of infection (fever, chills and sore throat).
