Foradil - Formoterol Fumarate
Foradil / Risedronate is used to treat wheezing, shortness of breath, and troubled breathing caused by asthma, and it is also used to prevent breathing difficulties (bronchospasms) during exercise and during nighttime sleep. It relaxes and opens air passages in the lungs, making breathing easier. Formoterol is used for long-term control of asthma symptoms and should not be used in replacement of a short-acting inhaler (like albuterol) for acute asthma symptoms.
